Streets Imaging engaged our services during a period of significant transformation, with a substantial existing infrastructure footprint. We began by auditing their local networks and infrastructure, providing a comprehensive overview of the current state, best practice recommendations, and prioritized action items.
Virtualization
We then facilitated Streets Imaging’s transition from physical to virtual infrastructure. This shift allowed for better utilization of their existing hardware and more effective backup solutions. It also laid the groundwork for migrating their critical applications to newer operating systems, ensuring continued Microsoft support and avoiding end-of-life issues.
Network Refresh
Following this, we upgraded their network hardware, including replacing the router, core switch, wireless access points, and switches. This upgrade significantly reduced their technology risk and enhanced network security. We also implemented a more secure WiFi solution, VPN access for interstate and remote staff, and provided improved management reporting on network traffic.
Post Implementation Testing
After the implementation, we conducted thorough testing and provided on-site support as the business reopened. We identified and quickly resolved a few minor issues before regular trading hours resumed resulting in minimal downtime and customer impact.
